AI course generator

Enter a subject, a class or semester and the length of the term, and the generator drafts a course plan: weekly topics, lesson plans, learning outcomes and assessment points. A teacher reviews, edits and publishes it. Until then it is only a draft, and students see nothing.

The Old Way Transform My Institution

Where you are today

Holding you back

  1. Term plans start from a blank page

Every session, teachers write the same scheme of work from scratch, or copy last year’s file and fix the dates by hand.

    Pain point

  2. Outcomes written after the fact

Learning outcomes and thinking levels are added when the accreditation file asks for them, not when the course is designed.

    Pain point

  3. Assessments land where they fit

Tests are placed wherever the calendar has a gap, sometimes on topics that have not been taught yet.

    Pain point

  4. Plans kept in personal folders

The scheme of work sits on a teacher’s laptop, so a head of department cannot see it and a substitute cannot find it.

    Pain point

  • DaysWriting one term plan from scratch
  • 2+Copies of the same plan in circulation
  • MarchWhen outcomes finally get mapped

Your institution, transformed

Everything connected

  1. A first draft in one sitting

Weeks, sessions and topics are laid out from the details you give, so the teacher starts by editing rather than typing.

    Solved

  2. Outcomes planned with the course

Each unit carries learning outcomes tagged to a Bloom’s level, ready to map to course outcomes later.

    Solved

  3. Assessments in the right order

Class checks and internal assessments come after the topics they test, and the teacher can move any of them.

    Solved

  4. One plan on the course record

The published plan sits with the course, where the head of department and a substitute can both find it.

Full course outlines from a few details

Tell the generator what the course is: the subject, the class or semester, the term dates, periods a week and the syllabus you follow. It lays out a week-by-week plan for the teacher to reshape.

  • Weekly topics set against the teaching days in your academic calendar
  • Readings, class activities and discussion prompts drafted for each week
  • Your institution’s plan template followed, where one is set

Outcomes and assessments in the right order

Each unit arrives with learning outcomes tagged to a Bloom’s level, and assessment points follow the teaching they cover. A head of department can see the thinking behind a plan, not just a list of chapters.

  • Outcomes tagged Remember, Understand, Apply, Analyse, Evaluate or Create
  • Class checks and internal assessments placed after the topics they test
  • Any week, topic or assessment moved by the teacher before publishing

A draft until a teacher publishes it

The generator proposes and the teacher decides. Drafts wait for review, every generation and edit is logged, and a plan is built from your syllabus and calendar rather than from student records.

  • Nothing reaches students until a teacher approves and publishes the plan
  • Each generation logged with who asked, when, and what was changed after
  • Your data stays in your region and is never used to train a model

Frequently asked questions

Get answers to common questions about the course generator

How long does it take to generate a course plan?

A draft is ready in a single sitting, and a longer course takes a little longer. The time that matters is the teacher’s review: reading the draft, reshaping it and approving it before anything is published.

Can we use our own course plan template?

Yes. Where your institution has set a plan format, such as the columns a scheme of work must carry, drafts follow it, so plans from different teachers look alike to the head of department.

Does it work for every subject and level?

It drafts plans for school subjects, college and university courses, and skill programmes. A teacher who knows the subject still checks every topic, because a draft is only as good as the syllabus and details it was given.

Which AI model does it use, and who sees our data?

Every third party that touches your data is listed by name and purpose, and you are told before that list changes. Your records are not used to train or fine-tune any model, and are never pooled with other institutions’ data.

Can a plan be edited after it is published?

Yes. Weeks can be moved, topics swapped and assessments rescheduled at any time. Each change is logged with who made it and the previous version, so the plan’s history is never lost.

Does it help with NAAC and NBA outcomes?

Outcomes on the plan are tagged to Bloom’s levels and can be mapped to course outcomes. iVake already computes CO, PO and PSO attainment from the live grade book, so the outcomes you plan against are the ones you report.

Is student data used to generate a course?

No. A plan is built from the course details, your syllabus and your calendar. It does not need, and does not read, any student’s marks, attendance or personal details.

Can a head of department approve plans before they go out?

Yes. Plans can be set to need approval, so a draft moves from the teacher to the head of department before it is published, and each approval is recorded.
