A syllabus your Board of Studies will sign

Credits from L-T-P, Unit I to V with hours, course outcomes with Bloom’s levels, and the CO–PO matrix accreditation asks for. It checks the sums as you go.

What faculty ask

How are credits worked out?

One credit for each hour a week of lecture or tutorial, and one for every two hours of practical. So 3-0-2 is four credits. If your university counts differently, the L-T-P you enter still prints as it is.

What do the numbers in the CO–PO matrix mean?

How strongly a course outcome serves a programme outcome: 3 high, 2 medium, 1 low, and a dash for none. The average row is what goes into attainment calculations. Download the matrix as a CSV to keep it with your accreditation files.

Why does it warn me about hours?

The hours in your units should add up to the lecture and tutorial hours for the semester. A syllabus that promises 45 hours of content in a 60-hour course, or the reverse, is the first thing a reviewer spots.

Where is my syllabus saved?

Only in this browser, on this device. Nothing you type is sent to iVake. Print it and choose “Save as PDF” to keep a copy.

See iVake running on your own data

Share your fee structure and programmes before the call, or sample data with student names removed. We set them up, so you see your own institution on screen rather than a demo account.

  • 45 minutes, your data. Not a generic tour of features.
  • Migration mapped on the call. We show exactly where your current records land.
  • A written rollout plan within two working days, with phases, owners and dates.
  • No pressure to switch everything at once. Most schools and colleges start with one department or one intake.
