Free tool for timetable in-charges

A timetable for every section at once

Add your classes and who teaches what. Teachers shared between sections are never put in two rooms at the same time. Print it, or open it in Excel.

What timetable in-charges ask

Why not just do it in Excel?

Excel does not know that the Hindi teacher in 6A is the same person as the one in 7B. This builder does, across every section, so it never books one teacher into two rooms. Change one subject and the whole school is re-arranged in under a second.

What does "double" do?

It teaches that subject in pairs of back-to-back periods, the way science and computer labs usually run. A double period is never split by a break or lunch.

Can I change it by hand?

Yes. Click one period and then another to swap them. If the swap would put a teacher in two rooms, it is refused and you are told which class they would clash with. Shuffle gives a different arrangement of the same plan.

Where is my timetable saved?

Only in this browser, on this device. Nothing you type is sent to iVake. Download the CSV if you want a copy elsewhere.

What does it not do?

It does not assign rooms, and it does not know when a part-time teacher is unavailable. Inside iVake, the timetable also handles rooms, substitutions when a teacher is absent, and attendance marked against each period.

See iVake running on your own data

Share your fee structure and programmes before the call, or sample data with student names removed. We set them up, so you see your own institution on screen rather than a demo account.

  • 45 minutes, your data. Not a generic tour of features.
  • Migration mapped on the call. We show exactly where your current records land.
  • A written rollout plan within two working days, with phases, owners and dates.
  • No pressure to switch everything at once. Most schools and colleges start with one department or one intake.
