Questions admission heads ask
Short answers for the admission office and its counsellors.
We came back from a fair with 300 paper slips. How does iVake help?
Put a QR code on the stall. Each family who scans it becomes an enquiry with the fair as its source, assigned to a counsellor by programme, language or area. Duplicates are caught on arrival, and an enquiry nobody works goes to the team lead. Slips already collected can be imported with their source.
How does a counsellor know whom to call next?
Each counsellor has a queue sorted by how long families have waited, with the last conversation on screen. Calls are made from the record, not a personal phone, and the outcome, callback and next reminder are logged as the call ends.
Does it suit school admissions as well as college counselling?
Yes. A school takes class-wise applications with siblings linked and transfer certificates checked. A college adds entrance scores, merit lists ranked by your rules, management, NRI and other quotas in one seat matrix, and round-wise counselling with automatic waitlist promotion.
Can families pay the admission fee online?
Yes. Offers go out with an expiry, a fee plan and a payment link, and families pay by UPI, card or net banking, in part or in instalments. The confirmed applicant becomes the student on the same record, with nothing retyped.
Can we see which sources bring admissions, not just enquiries?
Yes. Source, campaign and cost are recorded on each enquiry and stay on the record through admission. You see conversion at every stage by source, programme and counsellor, and cost per enrolled student, from the same records.
Can we start in the middle of admission season?
Yes. Past enquiries import with their source and stage, and counsellors carry on from where they were. The start of a counselling round is the cleanest point, but it is not a requirement.
What does admission management cost?
₹4,999 a month, flat, whatever your size, and it can run without the rest of iVake. A one-time ₹10,000 onboarding fee covers migration and training. GST at 18% is extra.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Try iVake free for 30 days with full feature access and no credit card, at app.ivake.com. If you continue, the one-time ₹10,000 onboarding fee is on your first invoice.
