The Old Way Transform My Institution

Where you are today

Holding you back

  1. Parents ringing the office

Questions about attendance, marks and fees all arrive as phone calls, because families have no other way to check.

    Pain point

  2. Problems heard about at report card time

A run of absences or a slipping subject reaches home weeks after it began, when it is hardest to turn round.

    Pain point

  3. Fee notices that go astray

Printed fee slips are lost in school bags and reminders go to an old number, so payments arrive late.

    Pain point

  4. Notices spread across too many channels

Circulars go out on paper, class WhatsApp groups and SMS, and parents miss the one that mattered.

    Pain point

  • 3+Channels a notice might arrive on
  • 2+Calls to answer one simple question
  • WeeksBefore a family hears about a problem

Your institution, transformed

Everything connected

  1. Families check it themselves

Attendance, results, fees and notices are in the app, read straight from the records staff already work in.

    Solved

  2. Same-day word on absences

The parent on file hears on WhatsApp, SMS or email on the day their child is marked absent or late.

    Solved

  3. Fees paid from the phone

UPI, card or net banking in under a minute, with the receipt issued once the payment is confirmed and reminders stopped.

    Solved

  4. One place for notices

Notices arrive in the app, and every message sent is logged against the record it came from.

    Solved

  • 1Login for every child in a family
  • 0Extra charge for parent app access
  • Same dayAbsence alert to the parent

Fewer calls to the front office

Every call asking about marks, attendance or fees is one your staff should not need to take. The app puts those answers where the parent can find them at any hour.

  • Results with teacher remarks, visible as soon as the school publishes them
  • Today’s attendance, marked by the teacher in class, visible the same morning
  • Dues, receipts and the next instalment date, with payment by UPI, card or net banking

Problems noticed before the report card

When parents hear how things are going once a term, help comes too late. Seeing marks and attendance as they are recorded gives a family time to ask about it at home.

  • Marks by assessment, so a pattern of missed homework shows before the term result
  • Attendance history that makes repeated late arrivals or Monday absences easy to spot
  • An alert the same day a child is marked absent, with a way to send the reason back

One app for every kind of family

Families differ. The app handles brothers and sisters in different classes, two guardians with different responsibilities and access your office controls, without a separate account for each child.

  • Parents with more than one child switch between them from a single login
  • Access set per guardian, so one can pay fees while another sees attendance and results
  • Separated parents can hold independent logins, each with the access your office sets

Frequently asked questions

Get answers to common questions about the parent portal

What can parents see in the iVake parent app?

Attendance, timetable, homework, results, fees, certificates and notices, and the live position of their own child’s bus where the school runs transport. What each guardian sees depends on the access your office sets.

How does the app handle families with more than one child?

Parents log in once and see every child linked to them, switching between them in the app. Each child’s record stays separate, even when brothers and sisters are in different classes.

Can separated parents have separate access?

Yes. Each guardian can have their own login, and the office decides what each one sees: one might view and pay fees while the other sees attendance and results only. Changing one guardian’s access does not affect the other.

Is the parent app charged separately?

No. Parent and student app access is included at every price band and is never billed as an extra, however many families use it.

Do parents have to open the app to stay informed?

The app holds the full picture, but the messages that matter also arrive on WhatsApp, SMS or email: absence alerts, fee receipts and reminders, and results. A family that rarely opens the app still hears about them.

How quickly does information reach the app?

As soon as it is recorded. Attendance submitted by a teacher, a payment confirmed by the gateway or a result published by the school shows straight away, because the app reads the same records staff work in. If a teacher marked attendance offline, it appears once their phone syncs.

Can parents send the reason for an absence?

Yes. The absence message invites a reply, and parents can also submit the reason from the app. It is kept on the student’s record against the day it refers to.

How is a family’s data protected?

Each guardian sees only their own children. Parental consent is recorded with its purpose and a timestamp, in line with the DPDP Act, and every change is written to the audit trail with who made it and the previous value.
