How your school goes live
About four weeks, without losing a term.
Set up your school
We enter your classes from Nursery to 12, sections, board, fee heads, concessions and bus routes, and the approval chains you already use.
Bring your data across
Students, parents, siblings, past results and fee dues come from spreadsheets, Tally or your old software, checked line by line before you sign off.
Train each desk
Class teachers, the front office, the fee counter, transport staff and coordinators each learn their own screens. Sessions are recorded for anyone on leave.
Go live with fees and attendance first
Parents notice fees and attendance first, so those start in Term 1. Mid-session works too, because attendance and marks carry a date.

Questions schools ask
Short answers for principals, correspondents and accountants.
Does it work for CBSE, ICSE and state boards?
Yes. Classes, sections and subjects are set up for your board, with your own assessment scheme, grade scale and term report cards. For Classes 11 and 12, streams and subject combinations are set once and used by the timetable and exams.
How are two Class 10 board attempts handled?
Each attempt is kept against the student with its own date, subjects and marks, and the result that counts is marked. Students sitting again keep their own status, so they stay on the right lists for revision and results.
Is APAAR compulsory at admission?
No. APAAR is voluntary, and after the Supreme Court’s order of 20 July 2026 consent forms must let parents refuse. The ID goes on a student’s file only with parent consent, and admission should never depend on it.
Does it support the Holistic Progress Card?
Yes. Teachers note observations on a phone against a competency, with their name and the date. Parent and student inputs come through the app, and each child’s card is built from what is already there.
How much does iVake cost?
The ERP is ₹8 per student a month up to 200 students, ₹7 from 201 to 10,000 and ₹5 above 10,000. Admission management (₹4,999), training and placement (₹3,999) and alumni management (₹2,999) are flat monthly add-ons. Onboarding is a one-time ₹10,000, covering migration and training. GST is 18% extra. Quarterly billing takes 5% off, yearly 15%.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Try iVake free for 30 days at app.ivake.com, with full feature access and no credit card needed.
Can we switch from our current software mid-session?
Yes. Students, fee dues and past results come across from spreadsheets, Tally or older software and are checked before go-live. Most schools are live in about four weeks, and your old system can run alongside through Term 1 at no cost.
Who is responsible for student data under the DPDP Act?
Your school is the Data Fiduciary and stays responsible for its own compliance. iVake helps: parent consent is kept with its purpose and time, health and fee details are restricted, and every change is logged with who made it.
