How a professional college goes live

Roughly four weeks for a single college, and six to eight for a group or several campuses.

  1. Map the seat matrix

Programmes, intake, quotas and reservation categories are set up, with your counselling rounds and a fee plan for each category.

  2. Bring records across

Enquiries keep their source and stage. Students, past results and fee balances are reconciled line by line before you sign off.

  3. Set up outcomes and recruiters

Course outcomes are mapped to programme outcomes for NBA, and last season’s recruiters go on file, so the next placement season starts from a list.

  4. Go live at a round or a term

The cleanest start is a counselling round or a new term. Your implementation manager stays on call through your first admission cycle and first examination.

Questions professional colleges ask

Short answers. The demo covers the rest.

Round 3 ended with 38 withdrawals. How do we refill those seats?

Each withdrawal frees a seat in the seat matrix, and the next applicant on the waitlist moves forward automatically with a fresh offer, an expiry date and a payment link. The refund goes to committee for approval, so accounts and admissions work from the same list.

Does it handle management, NRI and minority quotas?

Yes. Management, NRI, minority, state and central quotas, reservation categories and supernumerary seats sit in one seat matrix. Merit rules and entrance scores produce ranked lists, and counselling runs round by round.

How does iVake support NBA outcome attainment?

Course outcomes are mapped to programme outcomes, and attainment is computed from the marks in the live gradebook as the term runs. Gaps and actions are visible while there is still time to act, and the figure in your report matches the figure in your records.

Can students apply for placement drives from their phones?

Yes. A student sees only the drives they qualify for and applies in one tap, with a resume built from verified marks. A result published on Monday changes eligibility on Monday. Recruiters work through a link, and the placement cell confirms every outcome.

Are internships and higher studies tracked too?

Yes. Internships, off-campus offers, higher studies and ventures sit on the same profile as campus offers, with the offer or admission letter attached. That builds the three-year progression view NAAC and NBA ask for while the students are still here.

Does it suit pharmacy, nursing and PGDM programmes?

Yes. Each programme keeps its own regulations and examination scheme, whether that is a credit-weighted CGPA, percentages, or theory with practical and viva. Attendance is recorded per subject and per activity, and lab consumables are tracked by batch and expiry date.

How much does iVake cost for a professional college?

The ERP is ₹8 a student a month up to 200 students, ₹7 from 201 to 10,000 and ₹5 above that. Admission management (₹4,999), Training & placement (₹3,999) and Alumni management (₹2,999) are flat monthly add-ons. Onboarding is a one-time ₹10,000, covering migration and training. GST at 18% is extra; quarterly billing saves 5%, yearly 15%.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Try iVake free for 30 days with full feature access and no credit card, at app.ivake.com. If you continue, your first invoice includes the one-time ₹10,000 onboarding.
