Education ERP software in India, compared
The first decision is not which vendor. It is how much of a student's life the software has to hold — enquiry, classes, exams, fees, accreditation, placement, alumni. Most products cover the first three and go quiet after that.
Checked against vendor websites on .
iVake publishes this page. Facts about other products come from those companies' own public pages on the date shown. If something is wrong or out of date, write to hello@ivake.com and we will correct it.
Every vendor here says it runs your whole institution. Read the actual pages and the range is wide: one is admissions software, one now sells classroom panels, one is code you host yourself. Knowing which you are looking at saves a demo.
The short versionEnquiry, academics and fees are covered by most of these products. Accreditation evidence, placement and alumni are where published coverage thins. And three things an Indian institution genuinely reports on — APAAR or ABC, UDISE+, and NAAC or NBA evidence — are almost entirely missing.
How we compared
- Only the vendor's own website counts. Every line came from a page we opened on 18 September 2026. Where a page did not mention something we wrote "not published", not "does not have it" — a company can ship a feature and never write about it.
- Scale claims stay claims. If a vendor says it serves tens of thousands of institutions, that is their figure on their page, not something we checked.
- Software directories left out. Their price fields are entered into the directory, not published by the vendor, and several contradict each other.
- No logos, no screenshots, short quotes only.
Enquiry, academics and fees
| Product | Enquiry and admission | Academics and exams | Fees |
|---|---|---|---|
| Meritto | Yes | Not published | Application fees; school fees via Collexo |
| Teachmint | Not published now | Partly | Retired, by their own statement |
| MyClassboard | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Fedena | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Edunext | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| OpenEduCat | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Vidyalaya | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Skolaro | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Classe365 | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| iVake | Yes | Yes | Yes |
"Not published" means we could not find it on that company's own site on 18 September 2026. It is not a statement that the product cannot do it.
Two rows need a sentence. Meritto's own navigation is admissions end to end, with no timetable, attendance or examination page in it. Teachmint's site now leads with an interactive panel, and its page headed "What Happened to the Fee Management System?" says the standalone fee module has gone; several older ERP pages, still linked from its menu, returned server errors.
Accreditation, placement and alumni
| Product | Accreditation evidence | Placement | Alumni |
|---|---|---|---|
| Meritto | UGC DEB compliance only | Not published | Not published |
| Teachmint | Not published | Not published | Not published |
| MyClassboard | SQAA, for CBSE schools | Not published | Yes |
| Fedena | Not published | Yes, an add-on | Yes, an add-on |
| Edunext | Not published | Not published | Not published |
| OpenEduCat | General wording; no NAAC or NBA | Yes | Yes |
| Vidyalaya | Not on the product pages | Not published | Yes |
| Skolaro | AICTE, UGC, NAAC on the college page | Yes, college page | Yes |
| Classe365 | Degree Audit; no NAAC or NBA | Not published | Yes |
| iVake | NAAC and NBA evidence, AISHE and AICTE returns | Yes | Yes |
What nobody publishes
- APAAR and the Academic Bank of Credits. Named as a feature by none of the nine other products. Vidyalaya writes about ABC on its blog, which is not a module.
- UDISE+. Named by none of the nine other products.
- NAAC, NBA and NIRF. NBA and NIRF appear nowhere. NAAC appears once as a capability, on Skolaro's college page, which names reporting for AICTE, UGC and NAAC. MyClassboard covers SQAA, CBSE's school framework; Meritto covers UGC's Distance Education Bureau. OpenEduCat uses accreditation language in general terms and names no Indian body.
- DigiLocker. Named by one, Meritto, alongside Aadhaar authentication.
- UPI, by name. Named by two: Skolaro on its fee page, and Meritto on its payments page, where Collexo lists UPI beside cards, wallets and net banking. MyClassboard names twelve gateways including Razorpay, PayU and CCAvenue, but not UPI as such.
- Go-live timelines, uptime and where your data is held. None of Meritto, Teachmint, Entab or MyClassboard publish any of the three. Meritto names AWS for hosting.
None of this makes a product bad. It does mean that if APAAR entries or a NAAC criterion file are real work in your office, ask in writing.
Entab CampusCare is not in these tables
The reason is ours, not theirs. On 18 September 2026, entab.in, www.entab.in, campuscare.cloud over HTTPS, campuscare.in and demo4.entab.net were all unreachable from our network, and the Internet Archive was itself serving an offline notice, so there was no archived copy either. We opened no page of Entab's own website. Their modules, pricing, AI features and scale claims are things we could not verify, and we would rather leave a well-known product out than describe it from memory.
One fact we can report, from a listing they publish themselves: the CampusCare parent app carries 4.03 from 1,27,446 ratings on Google Play, the largest parent-app rating base on this page. If you work at Entab, write to hello@ivake.com; we will try the site again and publish what it says.
Who each one suits
Meritto suits a large counselling floor: admissions from enquiry to offer, AI helpers for counsellors, a published price list. A school still needs a second system for timetable, attendance, exams and report cards.
Teachmint suits a school buying classroom hardware — an interactive flat panel and an AI teaching assistant, sold through dealers with an on-site warranty. For administration, confirm current scope with them directly.
MyClassboard suits a school or group wanting operational breadth: around seventy modules, transport, hostel, canteen, payroll, a franchise module for multi-branch groups, twelve payment gateways and Tally. No price published.
Fedena suits a committee wanting a rupee figure before the first call: ₹50,000 to ₹1,00,000 a year plus GST, unlimited users, a 14-day trial with no card. Placement and alumni are add-ons. No AI feature at all.
Edunext suits schools, and only schools — no college positioning. No price anywhere, and the product list runs past ERP into website design and SEO work.
OpenEduCat suits an institution with its own engineers. Open source under LGPL-3.0, the Community edition self-hosts free, and their own page is straight that servers, upgrades, backups and support then belong to you.
Vidyalaya suits a school wanting Indian back-office plumbing — Tally, WhatsApp, biometrics, CBSE and Gujarat board gradebooks. Twelve AI-named modules, no published price, NAAC material in blog posts rather than product pages.
Skolaro suits a college that wants reporting named up front: its fee page names UPI, and it is the only product here naming AICTE, UGC and NAAC reporting — on the college page, not the school page.
Classe365 suits an institution comfortable buying in dollars. Nothing India-specific appears on their own site, so UPI, Tally and statutory work would sit outside the product.
iVake suits an institution that wants one system holding a student from first enquiry to the alumni directory, with Indian compliance work included rather than quoted: NAAC and NBA evidence by criterion, AISHE and AICTE returns, APAAR and ABC with consent, DigiLocker, Tally export, DLT SMS and WhatsApp. Prices are on the site in rupees.
Where iVake is not the right choice
- You want to host and modify the software yourself. iVake is not open source and has no on-premise product; private hosting is quoted for groups. If self-hosting is the requirement, look at OpenEduCat's Community edition.
- You only want an admissions CRM. With a large counselling floor and no interest in attendance, exams or fees, a product built solely for admissions fits better, and Meritto publishes plans for that.
- You need years of independent reviews today. iVake has no third-party ratings, awards or review counts. It is new under this name — it was MyLeading Campus — and several products here have review bases we cannot match.
If you do one thingTake these two tables into the next demo and ask the vendor to fill in their own row, live, from their own site. The stages where they say "we can build that" are the stages you will pay for twice.

See iVake running on your own data
Share your fee structure and programmes before the call, or sample data with student names removed. We set them up, so you see your own institution on screen rather than a demo account.
- 45 minutes, your data. Not a generic tour of features.
- Migration mapped on the call. We show exactly where your current records land.
- A written rollout plan within two working days, with phases, owners and dates.
- No pressure to switch everything at once. Most schools and colleges start with one department or one intake.
